idk there’s just something about chetney believing (for absolutely no reason) that ashton might’ve died during their vision and screaming their name in a moment of inexplicable panic until they pop up totally fine. like it was a funny moment but there’s something to it. something something his old friends saw him dying on the ground and left anyway but his new friends lose sight of him for two seconds and start tearing the damn place apart in the most unnecessarily dramatic way possible. you get it right
i must not get takeout. takeout is the wallet-killer. takeout is the little-death that brings total obliteration. i will face the kitchen, fridge, and pantry. i will make choices about what to cook and then execute them. when hunger is gone there will be nothing. only i will remain.
I forgot to bring seed with me so the pigeons demand FLESH. Thankfully they have pathetic little jaw muscles and can barely give more than a pinch, so I let them try their very best to rip off my fingers.
